About this item

This Rainbow Mixture of Beets includes Detroit Dark Red Beets, Golden Detroit Beets, White Albino Beets and Chioggia Beets. Just sow the seeds and let the plants grow for about 6-8 weeks. You can harvest the roots at any time between midsummer and late fall. Beets should be planted from seed, directly into the garden. Each beet seed is actually a hard little cluster of 2 to 4 seeds. Continue succession plantings every 3 weeks until temperatures reach 80°F. Beets can again be planted in late summer or early autumn 6 to 8 weeks before the first average frost in autumn. Grow beets as a winter crop in mild-winter regions. Beets require 45 to 65 days to reach harvest. All our seeds are Home Grown in the USA - Isla's Garden
