Punica granatum - Pomegranate Tree Seeds for Planting, 30+ Fruit Tree Seeds, Tall & Beautiful Tree, (Isla's Garden Seeds), 85% Germination Rates, Great Home Garden Gift

Growing up to 20' tall, this dense, shrubby tree is showy even when it is not fruiting. The leaves start off bronze then change to green before finally ending in yellow at the end of the year. The trunk is twisty, gnarled, and instantly takes on an ancient appearance. The scarlet-orange trumpet-shaped flowers add to the appeal, making this a showy attention-grabber. Will bear fruits in climates that don't dip below 40F.

Plant seeds in loose, rich soil, 1/2” deep. Start indoors 3-4 months before the spring planting season.

Place seeds starts in a warm, sunny location, and water consistently to keep soil moist but not soaked. Germination may take up to 40 days, so be patient.

An alternate seed starting method is to dampen a coffee filter, wrap the seed in it, and place the whole thing in a plastic bag. Put the plastic bag in a warm location. Germination should happen in a few days to a week. Once the seed is germinated, plant it in rich, loose potting soil.

Harden seedlings off in spring, then plant in the ground. They grow up to 20' so ensure there is enough space for them to grow up. In 2-4 years, they will produce fruit.

Pomegranate trees are not cold-hardy and will not do well in climates that receive temperatures below 40F. Pomegranate is drought-tolerant and once established, needs minimal, consistent watering.
