About this item

Echinacea Purple Coneflower: Its seeds should be planted in well-drained soil, in an area that receives full sun or partial shade. In cooler climates this flower can be planted outdoors in the spring, after the last frost has passed. Or it can be planted indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Warmer climates, such as those found in the southern United States, can fall plant this flower. All our seeds are Home Grown in the USA - Isla's Garden

  • Direct sow in late fall, planting the Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) seeds 1/4" deep and lightly compacting the soil. For spring planting, mix the seed with moist sand and store it in the refrigerator for 90 days before direct sowing; keep the soil consistently moist until germination. One of the prettiest flowers in your garden!
