About this item

Nasturtiums Alaska Mix is a mix of nasturtium flowers that blooms between spring and the fall frost, grows 10" - 12" with 5' - 6' vines when mature. Nasturtium prefers sun to shade and grows beautiful flowers in shades of scarlet, gold, orange, and yellow. Nasturtium flowers and leaves taste peppery like watercress. Excellent vine for fences, trellises, hanging baskets, or as a ground cover. Never pamper your Nasturtiums with excess fertilizer - excess fertilizer will cause lots of green leaves and no blooms. They flower best in average garden soil with loose, light texture. Important to remove spent flowers to prolong blooming. Brighten up your vegetable garden with Nasturtiums - they deter white flies and squash bugs. All our seeds are Home Grown in the USA - Isla's Garden
